Porter and Ellie are such great kids! Porter is such a neat boy. He was so kind and very polite, and Ellie is only 4 and has a personality and smile that can light up a room! Ellie loved getting photographed and the camera sure loved her! Plus these two were able to get their pictures taken next to each other without trying to kill each other which is a true sign of sibling love.

Happy New Year everyone! 2013 was a fun, exciting, and amazing year full of fantastic photography! I can't wait to see what 2014 brings. Just like the end of every year and every insanely busy senior season I always take a little retreat and a little break to regroup. I may have taken a little too much time from my blog this year though! Which is a crying shame because I have soooo many beautiful photos to show. For instance these GORGEOUS shots of Jenna. Jenna brought a couture flower dress that she made herself! Isn't it awesome! I loved the colors, the look and everything about this beautiful shoot!
If you know Christian you know that he is amazing in almost every way. In fact, we had just a very small window of time to get some portraits done because his schedule is packed with being a full-time, all around stud. Enjoy a few shots of Chris. And for you lucky people there will be more to come later on!
Emily is another one of my awesome senior ambassadors for Orcutt Academy High School. She was so much fun to work with and up for anything. We had an awesome time! Interesting fact: Emily swims 20 HOURS a week! The gorgeous and talented Vanessa did her makeup and we did a few shots in the studio and then went to Old Edna near Pismo Beach for some location shots. If you want a discount on your Senior Photos get in contact with Emily so she can hook you up!
Azziris is just as pretty as her beautiful Egyptian name! I had so much fun with this one in the Village of Arroyo Grande! Azziris brought her two big brothers with her. They were hilarious and had us all laughing the whole time which made for some good genuine smiles! They are such a fun family.
Elizabeth is the epitome of a girl with style, sophistication, and class. We had so much fun taking her senior portraits. Hope your last year of high school is fabulous Elizabeth!
Mike and Karina have been great friends of ours for years, they are practically family. They came all the way from Washington, DC to visit us and they looked so good we couldn't let them go home without some awesome portraits for their Christmas cards. For these pictures we went on a day trip to Solvang and the Santa Inez mission. While they were here, we also went with them on a killer trip to San Francisco and had an amazing time. We always have fun traveling and spending time with these two!
Amazing eyes, amazing personality and tons of fun ideas and fun clothes made this Senior shoot one of my favorites of the year! Karissa was up for anything and so relaxed and ready to have fun and it definitely shows. Karissa told me that when she was younger her family could never convince her to get out of the water when she was swimming so they called her the mermaid. We wanted to get a picture that showed that side her. I think we did a pretty good job.... definitely my favorite picture of the shoot.
Here are some pictures of the gorgeous Gaby! Her sweet smile and fun personality made this session a blast! On a side note, if you still haven't booked a Senior Portrait photographer call me soon! We were blessed to get to know Robert this summer. We were his host family while he studied here for the month of July. Our little girls loved him to pieces, and we really enjoyed having him with us and were so sad to see him leave. Before he left back for Germany we made sure we got a portrait of him in our studio capturing him as we knew him, wearing a hat, AF shirt, power balance bracelet, and a big smile.
Kelcie's grandfather spent years restoring this '37 Coupe before he passed away. When the car pulled up for this photo shoot I was shocked at how gorgeous and flawless this car was!! It is truly a showpiece and a beautiful backdrop for this beautiful senior!! Kelcie has such a classic look to go with this classic car. We did this photo shoot at the historic Santa Maria Inn. Kelcie is so pretty and was so much fun to work with! Good luck on your Senior Year Kelcie!
Those Pantene shampoo girls got nothin' on Karen! Her hair is amazing! And it's real! Seriously Karen is a gorgeous girl and was tons of fun to shoot at the La Purisima mission in Lompoc. See what I mean about her amazing hair! Also I love how the mustard flowers look like dots on an oil painting! It was beautiful!
Karen you are a beautiful girl! Good luck on your Senior year!
Here are 5 things to love about this striking couple... 1. Their rhyming names 2. Their beautiful brown eyes 3. Vanny's amazing green hair 4. They make graffiti look classy 5. They make the cutest engaged couple!
I've been meaning to get this post up for a while, but don't worry, it's worth the wait. Enjoy!
I have a special announcement, one that I am really excited about...Heather Hamer Photography is on the official approved list for Senior Pictures for the class of 2012 at Santa Maria High School, Righetti High School, Orcutt Academy, Pioneer High School, Delta, St. Joe's, and Lompoc High School!! We have started booking appointments, so the earlier you can get in, the better. Summer is practically here! I am so excited to work with Seniors this year. Even though this is my first year on the approved list, I've been able to do some here and there, and they are always so much fun! My sister Niki loves my senior sessions and wanted me to do one for her. So even though she is only a sophomore, here are some "senior pictures" of my beautiful sister Niki - you'll be seeing her on the blog again next year for sure...when she's a real senior! We spent about an hour taking pictures on the beach and then when the sun went down we met up with the rest of the family, got a fire going, and cooked up some hot dogs and s'mores while we listened to the waves! Very fun way to spend the evening!
