qwan – class of 2012

I’m so excited! It’s almost senior portrait season in Santa Maria and the the Central Coast. I’m not kidding when I say that Senior Season is my favorite time of the year (photography speaking anyway). I love meeting the amazing high school students and the creativity I get to use when doing senior portraits. I’m looking for a few Senior Reps for this year. You will receive free portraits in exchange for helping me spread the word of how much you loved your pictures:)If you are class of 2013 in the Santa Maria, Lompoc or Nipomo area, and would be interested in becoming a Senior Rep send me an email to Heather@HeatherHamer.com

Here is another fabulous senior from the class of 2012! May I present the beautiful Qwan.

Santa Maria Sweethearts ♥♥♥

I absolutely love doing photo-booths! I love that people look better in pictures when they are relaxed and having fun. I love getting the chance to interact with everyone at an event. I love the simplicity of them. When I was asked to do a photobooth at my church’s sweetheart dance I jumped at the opportunity. Check out all these cute couples!

ruth – class of 2012

I had the pleasure of taking senior photos of this beautiful girl and it’s high time I put her up on the blog. Ruth had the brilliant idea of getting her photos done at the Children’s Museum which used to be an old Coca-Cola bottling plant. It has a very mid-century look to it, which I love, and the red color contrasted so well with her stunning blue eyes! This location is definitely on my favorites list from now on.

the “j” family

The day was perfect in Los Olivos a couple of weeks ago when I met up with Kaitlyn, an old friend from the college days, and her darling family. Her two boys are just a few months younger than my girls and I was laughing the whole time at how different boys and girls are even from such a tiny age. These two boys were full of energy and laughs and with those big blue eyes they were just so cute and fun to photograph! Here is a sample of our wonderful afternoon in gorgeous Los Olivos.

the “r” family

I loved shooting this fabulous family. They were so fun and their kids are way to cute. We went out to a Talley Vineyard outside of Arroyo Grande. What a beautiful place. The vines were just turning amazing fall colors and the day was just amazing.

Becky and Dan celebrated their 10th anniversary a few days after this shoot. They still have that spark and weren’t afraid to show it for a few photos. So cute and so in love!
